Axter Klak made Levi’s sign. Sure is a pretty one, but Levi would rather shoe a horse than paint signs. He lets the sign get dusty so the glare won’t shine into Burditt’s chicken ranch and scare the hens off their laying nests.
Levi owns Ye Olde Blacksmith Shoppe & Liveree. It is not written who showed up to start Jhesephat City, but certainly Levi was among the first. He learned his trade Back East under a spreading Chestnut Tree. Jhesephat City has no Chestnut trees. So Levi built a timber barn.
